As a car guy I’m privleged to live a stones throw away from the Zwartkops Raceway. It’s close enough to somedays hear cars zooming around the track. Then there are days when you hear the unmistakable sound of what could only be a supercar. A ferrari or lambo. Something special. Supercars are loved by everyone. Even if you’re not really into cars. There’s just something about them that makes us smile. It’s like the muscles in our cheeks are somehow connected to their accelerator pedals. I love all types of cars but I love some more than others. The older models really get me going. They’re just so much more interesting somehow and have so much more character. Than comes those classic cars that have been modified for racing. Lowered suspension, nice fat tyres and souped-up engines. They bring a tear to my eye….
